Open the AmazonHelper popup and check that both “Extension Active” and “Amazon Dark Mode” are switched on. Then refresh the page. Dark mode works on all supported Amazon stores (amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .com.tr and 17 more).
It shows how many sponsored results AmazonHelper hid on the current page. It clears automatically when you leave the page.
That is intentional: when your active filters would hide every result on the page (for example “Prime Only” while Amazon shows no Prime badges to signed-out visitors), AmazonHelper shows all results with a notice instead of a confusing empty page.
It uses a weighted score that combines the star rating with the number of reviews, so products with a handful of possibly fake 5★ reviews can't outrank products with thousands of genuine reviews. Switching it off restores Amazon's original order exactly.
No. It runs only on Amazon pages, collects nothing and tracks nothing. The only permission it requests is “storage”, used solely to remember your settings. See the privacy policy.
Amazon updates its pages frequently. If you spot a glitch, email us with the page address and a screenshot — fixes usually ship within days.
